The Faculty of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Universidad de Chile is Chile’s first and, therefore, oldest faculty. It was founded on July 1st, 1945, by Rector Juvenal Hernández.
Currently, the faculty offers four undergraduate degree programs: Chemistry and Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Food Engineering.
As for graduate programs, we offer five master’s degree programs in Biochemistry; Chemistry; Food Science; Food: Food Management, Quality and Safety; and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The Faculty also offers five doctoral programs in Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Nutrition and Food, and Chemistry, focused on providing leadership training through rigorous studies in specialized fields.
